Nona grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area as a meditator, dancer, and yoga practitioner. She came to Taijiquan later in life, finding great benefit from its teachings and found her way into Qigong. She has fallen in love with the practice as a way to self-heal/nurture, create self-discipline, and promote personal growth. She is seeking ways to inspire those who are new to Qigong and Taiji.
Master Yang is a renown teacher and author of Qigong and Chinese Martial Arts. His creation, the YMAA Retreat Center, is a place where students learn through a fully immersive experience designed to reflect traditional methods and setting.
